Scoccer Time!

Well we are three weeks into soccer and the girls are doing pretty well for not knowing anything about the game when we started. Katy is trying her best to keep up with the boys on her team that have been playing for years. She does have a friend on the team who is in the same boat so they pretty much hang out together on the field.

Abby and Madelyn are in the beginner bracket. Abby does great charging up and down the field kicking the ball. She is having a great time and is doing really well. Madelyn is a little shy and mostly just follows the group and kicks the ball only if it happens to bounce off of her foot. But she too is having fun and that is all that counts. It gets them out of the house twice a week and gives them some good exercise. Here are some pictures from today's game.

Labor Day weekend

After being a slacker for a whole month I have finally found the time to sit down and put up some of our pictures from our adventures in the last month. Katy, Abby, and Madelyn all started school in August and are doing well and having fun. Here is a picture of them on the first day.

They also started soccer this week, but I'll have pictures of that at a later date.

Labor Day weekend was our annual Rigby family reunion (Collin's Mom's side of the family) Friday we drove up to Jackson and found our condos at Teton Village. They were awesome very beautiful, the weather was very nice, not too hot and not stormy. Saturday morning we went to the Snow King and went down the alpine slide. Abby had a great time. She went with me both times. The first time down she kept telling me to slow down. The second time she kept telling me to speed up.

After the slide we drove up to Jenny Lake and hiked around for a couple hours.

Then it was time to head home and get ready for dinner and a show at the Bar J Ranch. The show was great as it always is and Thomas loved to dance to the music. We even got to see a nice fox come into the campground and look for food that was left behind. One of the workers told us that the fox was born last winter and was a regular at the Chuck wagon. She was kind of a pet. It was the only wildlife we saw all weekend.
Sunday it was off to church where I saw my old boss from when I used to work in Jackson. She said that she remembered me but she used to say that to everyone who stayed at her hotel. She did remember Rebecca and Liz (my sisters) by name and asked how they were doing.
It was a great weekend and we all had a good time.

Monday morning we went into town for some shopping and sight seeing.
